I've been in education for over 30 years and hold an MA in Curriculum Development with an emphasis in Reading. I have taught at NNMC, Ohkay Owingeh Community School, and Mesa Vista Schools. I strongly believe that a student's ability to comprehend what they read strongly influences their academic success. Two of my daughters are also educators, one at McCurdy Charter School, and the other in Albuquerque with APS Special Ed. Program. I live in northern NM and was married for 46 years until I lost my husband 3 years ago. I am bless to have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
