2025 Literacy Convening Schedule

Registration information

The New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) invites you to the 2025 Literacy and Humanities Bureau Summer Literacy Convening. This convening will host local presenters, leading national experts, and educators and administrators from across the state. This convening will include keynote sessions, panel discussions, workshops, and activities aimed at reigniting teachers' passion for literacy and humanities instruction. This event will serve as a platform for all attendees to reconnect with the core purpose of their profession and to renew their commitment to fostering literacy development in their students.

Lodging Eligibility: Lodging will be provided for attendees traveling over 60 miles one way to the conference. Do you require lodging? (Note: You must be traveling more than 60 miles one way to qualify.)*

Upon successfully registering, you will receive a confirmation email with hotel booking instructions. Follow these to ensure your reservation is under the NMPED rooming block. Important Notes: Reservations made outside the listed methods will not be eligible for reimbursement.*
