Sarah Appel is the District Librarian for the Moriarty-Edgewood School District. with 21 years of experience as a classroom teacher and library-media specialist. 11 years of her experience was in the Rio Rancho Public School District as a Library-Media Specialist, as well as a 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade teacher. Sarah is a licensed K-8 teacher with library-media and reading endorsements and is a Book Creator Certified Author and a Google Certified Level 1 & 2 Educator. Currently, she is taking advantage of the STI Scholarships and taking Educational Technology graduate courses through ENMU. Sarah's passions revolve around the integrated roles of literacy, library-media and technology in our schools and communities.
