About me
Shannon Bowles is a Partnership Consultant with Reading Horizons. She holds a Bachelor's degree from BYU, a Master’s of Education degree in Applied Digital Learning from Lamar University, and is TESOL certified. In addition to her 7 years of experience as an ESL and foundational English literacy teacher in the K-12 virtual classroom, Shannon also serves as a professional learning facilitator, instructional coach, and speaker at national conferences. Shannon routinely supports schools and districts with implementation planning, training of staff, and mentoring in the edtech space. Her current position as an Partnership Consultant for Reading Horizons allows her to share her knowledge of explicit phonics instruction and her passion for literacy and learning with educators and district leaders across the country.
