Rianne Ventura, MA, NBCT
Rianne Ventura is a lifelong learner and educator of 24 years in New Mexico. She holds an MA in Special Education with an emphasis in Gifted Education, and a Dual BA in General Education and Special Education from the University of New Mexico. She has been a National Board Certified Teacher for 20 years. She is currently a Structured Literacy Coordinator for the Central Region Educational Cooperative in Albuquerque, NM. Previously, she was a district special education reading, writing, math, and UDL liaison for Albuquerque Public Schools where she coached and mentored thousands of teachers in Special Education. She is a local and national presenter in LETRS, reading, mathematics, best practices, and equitable education. In addition, she was an Apple Vanguard coach who supported teachers in the classroom around STEM education. She developed the first twice-exceptional middle school program in the United States serving gifted and talented students on the Autism spectrum in 2002.
