About me
Patricia (Trish) Gharrity is the Assistant Director of Math and Science/ Outdoor Learning Initiative Program Manager. Her experience in education spans 19 years including teaching birth – 6th grade, Assistant Principal and Principal. Patricia obtained her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Portland State University, Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Education – Instructional Leadership. She has experience in implementing outdoor education and collaboration with various entities in New Mexico including Santa Fe Alliance for Science, LANL, Santa Fe Safe Routes to School, Mountain Kids! and the Environmental Education New Mexico “Every Kid, Every Day, Every Way” Initiative to support equitable daily access to the outdoors and environmental learning in New Mexico. Patricia is a proud native of Santa Fe, NM.
