About me
I am honored and blessed to have been with the New Mexico Public Education Department for two years. My name is Lisa Sanchez, and I am the Science Specialist for the Math and Science Bureau. I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and still reside in New Mexico with my husband of thirty years. I attended the University of New Mexico for both my Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Secondary Education. I was a middle school science educator for over nineteen years with the Albuquerque Public School District. I am passionate about supporting educators and students in the state of New Mexico to help foster a love for science and a curiosity to explore everything about science.
